With Chick Fil A on the horizon, let's look back at the recent impact fees established. Based on the impact fee sheet, it says fast food w/drive thru has an impact fee of $52,253 per 1,000 sq ft. I could very well be misinterpreting it but it looks clear to me. Online says the proposed Chick-Fil-A is going to be over 4,000 sqft meaning over $200,000 of impact fee going directly to the county for improvement. EDIT: the proposed location is in the city limits and will not apply to county impact fees but it will to city fees.
